Can I add my own content, files and multimedia data to sam®?EHS stands for Environment, Health and Safety in companies.
EHS means environmental protection, health protection and occupational safety.
German companies are also increasingly referring to the “EHS department” when, for example, the occupational health and safety department is to be named. The abbreviation is now used in a variety of ways in this context.
For example, there are EHS Management / EHS Manager (i.e. department heads for occupational health and safety, environmental protection and health protection) and EHS management systems (a kind of company certification), but also browser-based EHS software, such as sam® from secova, which makes it easier to achieve the defined company goals in the area of occupational health and safety, environmental protection and health management.
Occasionally, however, the abbreviation EHS is also used in a different sequence of letters, e.g. HSE for example. If quality management is also to be included, refined abbreviations such as QHSE, EHSQ etc. are also regularly used.
A uniform standard for EHS does not exist here.

Clear answer: Yes and no. Many years of experience show us that it can make sense to start with the basic EHS system. Within just a few days, you can assign the necessary training courses to your employees and have 100% of your staff “on board”. Additional modules can then be rolled out step by step efficiently without requiring extensive training. From a purely technical point of view, however, it is not necessary to use the basic EHS system to roll out other modules.
Does the basic EHS system have to be introduced in order to use other modules?Employees without a permanently assigned workstation are often trained at terminals or collective workstations. In many cases, separate rooms are created for retreats and training opportunities, or tablets are set up for training. Employees without their own email address are informed via collective overviews and training plans for the respective supervisors.

Build your sam® avatar: Choose your hair color, hairstyle and the look of your face so that you find yourself in sam® digital. Once you have created your safety avatar, it will help you to access all safety-relevant information in a playful, visual way and will also show you the safety-relevant effects in each case.
