Take a seat - come sit with me.
My name is Klaus Waibel (11.10.1965-09.10.2024).
I spent many years of my life in Braunlage, a town that has become my home. I have not only put down professional roots here, but also personal ones. As an enthusiastic salesman, I was able to set up a sales office for secova and lead a great team. With the sam® software, we have helped many companies to improve occupational health and safety for their employees. It was more than just a job for me – it was a passion.

I loved the company – the conversations, the togetherness, the laughter. Especially here at Puppes, over a beer and a snack, I heard the best stories, had exciting discussions and simply enjoyed the time with my fellow human beings. It has always been important to me to listen, help and find solutions together – whether professionally or privately.

The Harz Falcons were a project close to my heart. From 2019 to 2024, I was allowed to support this great ice hockey club as chairman. With full commitment – not only financially, but above all with my heart and soul. It was important to me to strengthen local sport and the community, because that’s where I see true success: bringing people together, supporting dreams and achieving something together.

The Harzer Falcons – my favorite team
Oh yes, motorsport – a passion where the fuel bill was often higher than the rent, but every liter was worth it! I have been a permanent fixture in the DMV BMW 318ti Cup since 2019 and have contested exciting races with my team Cerny Motorsport and made friends in the paddock.
Perhaps my time in field service also shaped me – countless kilometers on the road that gave me the feeling of freedom, whether on the job or on the race track. There was hardly anything better than racing through the bends with squealing tires and enjoying the roar of the engine!

Another passion of mine – motorsport!
Even outside of sport, I always tried to be there when I was needed. Sometimes in an unconventional way, often with rolled-up sleeves and, above all, with a clear promise: My word counts. And when I have stood up for something, I have done so wholeheartedly.
I was a simple person, someone who appreciated the simple pleasures in life – a good conversation, good company, a good beer. It’s the moments with others that make life worth living. It is precisely these moments that need to be enjoyed – because life is finite and time is the most precious commodity we have.

So sit down with me and take a moment. Think about the beautiful things in life, about what fulfills you. Because in the end, what counts is what you have shared with others – moments, joy, community.
On that note: the next round is on you, my friend.
Your Klaus
