secova ehrt "Absolventen 2021"
Well done: Our "2021 graduates" Irene, Lukas, and Samira (with "master of ceremonies" Nicolas Lulay)
They hadn’t expected this: We at secova honored our “2021 graduates” in a special way for their successful completion of their studies and training. Irene Moor, Samira Wachsmann and Lukas Knieper also received words of praise. But as a “slightly different” company, we had also come up with a more special ceremony. Our three graduates were first delighted with a school cone (filled with a personalized mug and trail mix). And were then presented with their own “doctor’s hat.”
Even though the small ceremony for the successful graduates was primarily intended as a surprise and a joyful experience, one thing is clearly associated with it: recognition and high appreciation for their achievements.Top class and outstanding” was the unanimous verdict of our “masters of ceremonies” Nicolas Lulay (authorized signatory) and Philipp Lulay (Head of Development). And Jan Hasse (Interaction Design & Virtual Reality), who accompanied and evaluated both “Bachelorettes” as a second examiner, emphasized: ”
Theses with high practical relevance

Irene Moor studied Media and Communication Informatics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp Lintfort. Her wish for a practical semester for her bachelor’s thesis to be in the area of 3D modeling matched perfectly with the offering of our Virtual Reality (VR) department. She examined the “animation and user experience” of users during the implementation of a sam®-VR training course that she helped to design.
Samira Wachsmann attended Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and studied Media and Interaction Design. She also completed her practical semester with us in Rheine, Westphalia, as the basis for her Bachelor’s thesis. In consultation with her professor and our development department, she analyzed the user experience when using the sam® EHS Manager app. Irene and Samira are the fourth and fifth graduates to write their Bachelor’s thesis at secova.
Lukas Knieper joined us back in 2018 and has now successfully completed his two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship as an IT specialist. He also had to submit a technical report on an “Extended Measures Concept (EMK)” in the field of risk assessment (GBU). This means that Lukas is now our sixth “Secovaner” to successfully complete his training.
Graduates from 2021 like to stay with secova.
Typical secova: Irene, Samira and Lukas were fully integrated into our “Team secova” right from the start – and nothing will change now that they have officially graduated. Because all three are happy to stay with the company and are thus continuing a tradition. All of our graduates already had an unlimited employment contract ‘in their pocket’ before graduating.
Irene is now active in the field of VR development as a 3D artist. Samira is already working in product management as a “User Experience (UX) Designer Web & App”, taking care of the design and user properties of the sam® application. In contrast, Lukas, as a developer in the frontend area, deals with the “tangible” aspects of the software – that is, what is visible in the user interfaces surrounding sam®. But all three have one thing in common: they are looking forward to their new tasks. And we are happy and proud to be able to continue on this path with our “Graduates 2021”. But also curious to see who our graduates for 2021 or 2022 or… would like to become. Curious and interested? Then find out more here and simply contact us directly!
