Rheine training fair: secova is looking for you!

How can you start your career successfully? Answers to these questions were provided at the Rheine training fair, which took place on 19. and May 20 in the Stadthalle. We from secova were also represented and showed what exciting tasks await trainees and interns at our company. We were very pleased about the good discussions with students, parents and career changers! At our stand, our current trainees Rika and Jeremy as well as Katja (HR) and Jan W. (Development) provided information about their day-to-day work. Our colleagues Samira, Nico, Stefan and Jan H. and our intern Aileen also stopped by the training fair.

We offer apprenticeships in the fields of “IT Specialist” – with a focus on application development or system integration – and “Management Assistant” for digitization management. We offer internships in application, web, app or VR development and in 3D or media design. All jobs have the following in common: we provide you with the best possible support to help you work independently and autonomously as far as possible right from the start. You are present at all meetings relating to your project and we attach great importance to your opinion. You can and should learn a lot here to develop your skills in a self-determined way and then go your own way with us. As an important, equal part of the entire secova!

We have received several awards not only for our innovative EHS solution system sam®, but also as a particularly attractive employer. We are particularly pleased with the great ratings and comments we have received from our own employees on kununu – the anonymous review portal for employees. Even our current trainees are already convinced “Secovians”. That’s what Rika appreciates about us: “The productive teamwork, ideas are accepted and recognized, everyone is committed. There is also a great deal of uniformity, everything is well documented, we have style guides that we work according to.” Jeremy praises that “Someone always takes the time to answer questions and explain things. The amount of trust and appreciation that is shown here is also remarkable.”

The Rheine training fair, at which we also provided information about our company and job offers, takes place once a year. The event is organized by EWG (Entwicklungs- und Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft) Rheine, for whom the creation and safeguarding of local jobs is a central concern. EWG would also like to contribute to networking between schools and companies with the training fair.
By the way: At secova, we don’t just offer apprenticeships to school students – career changers and retrainees are also welcome if they are suitable.
