Luca wants to see it.

Luca has actually turned his hobby into a profession. And vice versa: our youngest “IT specialist trainee for application development” has been programming since the age of 13. Inspired by his circle of friends, he began creating his own websites. He has always been most interested in “what comes out in the end. I want to be able to see the result of my work!” He therefore works as a front-end developer in the secova team – and is delighted with “his” tiles and the info window in the instruction module. “What motivates me in my work is the thought that our customers can ultimately see what I have done.” He liked secova at first sight during the application process and always received quick feedback. His team recognized just as quickly what he was capable of, and so he was able to hit the ground running almost from day one. “The team spirit here is incredibly good, secova is very informal. The group concept prevails here – and not one of ‘I’m above you’. I also find our benefits and many joint activities extremely strong and very conducive to communication.”

For Luca, the difference between work and leisure time is not that big. He also enjoys sitting at his computer and programming in his private life. Occasionally we also “gamble” on a PC game. Otherwise, “meeting up with friends” and “doing things on his own” roughly balance each other out. He also likes to simply go for an hour’s walk or run through the city center. “I’m still looking for another hobby. I tried the gym once, but I don’t enjoy it. Maybe I’ll try volleyball…” When asked about the rapid pace of technological development, Luca is of the opinion “that even the best AI (artificial intelligence) can’t replace programming.” His wish for the future is “to develop something of my own at some point – I’m happy to do that on the side. The idea that I can come up with something myself and then actually put it into practice appeals to me!”
