Peter likes it "without limits"
Peter raves about his "totally smooth welcome" at secova: "I felt like a full-fledged club member here from day one!"
Peter works in the secova development team as a backend developer. He completed a dual course of study to become an IT specialist for application development and gained a Bachelor of Science at Munster University of Applied Sciences, working for a total of ten years as a ‘multi-instrumentalist’ in his training company. “Then the time was ripe to do something other than mostly Java” – and so he and secova came together at exactly the right time. Querying data, filtering and creating assignments – that’s exactly his world. But why “backend” in particular (i.e. everything that runs in the background in terms of software)? “It’s kind of a free world, without limits, and everything is conceivable,” is his answer, and he adds: “It may not sound very creative, but it’s not Scheme FYou can find intelligent, suitable solutions here with your own handwriting.” He appreciates the friendly, open-minded, and interested interaction among the team. Team secovaWe meet on a relaxed, personal level and proactively approach each other. You experience this familiar secova spirit here every day!”
Family – that is clearly Peter’s top priority in his private life. Born in the Rhineland, he spends as much free time as possible with his wife and two young sons (3 1/2 and 1 1/2). They enjoy going on outings together, not just to the nearest sandbox – they all have an annual pass for the Rheine Nature Zoo, and the city park is also frequently visited. In his youth, Peter played handball and squash actively (up to the state league), but currently, it is rather difficult for him to play sports regularly. However, he would definitely like to include the weekly sports course at secova in his weekly schedule. If time permits, a movie or video game is also on the program in the evening to relax. And he can’t do without programming at home either: the planned home automation has already started with a project to optimize heating curves. Having ideas and then implementing them consistently is something he also likes about secova: “The pragmatism here is very pronounced – I like that.”
