"Open House" event at secova

It was great to see so many of you at our “Open House” on Saturday! Anyone who was curious and interested could get to know our entire office in Rheine on May 13 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and look over the shoulders of us “Secovians”. And you accepted our offer in large numbers – we were able to welcome around 350 guests. Our offer to you on the day was three things:
You have gained insight into the variety and diversity of work at secova, as well as the different jobs that exist here.
We let you experience our ‘secova spirit’ – the way we want to interact with each other and with others (be it customers, business partners, or guests).
With a diverse range of exciting activities for young and old, we were able to offer you a great day.

At our ‘Open House’ day, we wanted you to get to know us and for us to get to know you in a casual manner. However, we have also tried to give you a deeper insight into our day-to-day work with the following topics:
– What do we mean by “New Work” and how have we implemented it?
– What does an ergonomically and technically almost perfectly designed workplace look like?
– What different departments and jobs are there at secova?
– What is sam® and why do you need occupational health and safety software?
– What benefits are there for Team secova employees? –
We hope that we have been able to answer many of your questions and show you what we mean by “Working with pleasure at secova“. And maybe one of you or the other will fit in with us in the future…

For all our guests – and also for those who were unable to attend – here is an overview of the whole day:
There was a rich program on the four levels of the Environ building. We welcomed you in the entrance area with our (non-alcoholic) cocktail “Sammy Special”. On the 1st floor you could get to know our trainees, product management and (frontend & backend) development. In addition to childcare with a play corner and make-up area, our Office Olympics and sugar puzzles took place here, and you could also let off steam in our in-house laser tag area or try to beat the high score on our two office pinball machines. Our “Singing Barista”, who gave you lots of great tips on how to prepare the brown bean to perfection in his coffee workshop, was also very popular.

In the On the 2nd floor, five of our departments have welcomed you: People & Culture, Content & Marketing, Sales, Customer Success Management and Technical Support. Here you could immerse yourself in virtual reality with sam®-VR or gain an insight into how video games are created. In addition, the “secova Gaming Legends” awaited you for legendary gamer matches in virtual reality golf, Bomberman and Mariokart. In the Our cinema was located on the 3rd floor, and we also invited you to two short meditation sessions and physiotherapy treatments. In our large kitchen area – and because of the great weather also outside on the most beautiful office roof terrace in Rheine – you were able to enjoy our delicious food from Gustav Grün. Snacks were also available on all levels.
