Madeleine keeps moving

Madeleine is happy to be active: “I’m not the type of person who wants to stand still; I always want to have something to do and make contact with a lot of people.” For the tourism management graduate, it was clear after her first temporary job that “I would stay in the commercial field.” Professionally, she oriented herself more and more towards sales and was now a perfect fit for the open position at secova in the field of “Inside Sales”: “The job is very demanding; there is a lot to do – no standing still, but always moving. That’s exactly what I like! I don’t just want to know what we have, but also how it works. I find this deeper insight exciting.” What she appreciates about Inside Sales is “that I can be even closer to the customer and take them by the hand, sometimes delving into their problems and then offering solutions. I like to take care of things and am helpful!” If necessary, she receives “support from my great colleagues at all times – overall Team secova is 110% reliable. And each of us can be exactly who we want to be. Everyone is on the same level and you can simply chat with anyone. You are part of a whole here!”

Staying in motion has always been important to Madeleine in her private life. Her particular soft spot for Spain not only led her to spend her semester abroad there. She is still regularly drawn to the land of tapas and paella, siestas and fiestas on vacation. In general, traveling is her great passion, mainly in the Iberian region. She has also always enjoyed being physically active. For a long time, she was passionate about handball and then added dancing (“both standard and Latin”). Today, she regularly attends our secova fitness course and practises yoga, also as a balance to her job, which is mostly done sitting down. Despite the joy of movement, there are of course also stable, calm elements in their lives. One fixed point is certainly her home town of Lohne in the county of Bentheim, where she, her boyfriend and her family feel at home. The best way for her to relax is to read novels (“preferably in English”), both modern literature and classics. She also loves to bake and cook in her free time – and not just for her own pleasure…
