Annual greetings 2022: "Donations instead of postage" again
Savings on printing and postage costs will be greatly increased and - together with the results of Team secova's Advent calendar campaign - will be donated to 19 charitable organizations
secova’s motto for the 2022 annual greetings is once again “Donations instead of postage”! Instead of greeting and thanking customers, business partners and friends by post at the end of the year, secova has been taking a different approach for the past six years: the costs saved are generously topped up and then donated to various charitable organizations, which receive these amounts as support for their numerous projects. What is also special here is that the selection of almost all the organizations considered was based on suggestions from secova employees. And the secova team has come up with something extra for the end of 2022 – a living Advent calendar!
The idea behind this Advent calendar is very simple: Each employee was allowed to choose their personal door and prepare a 15-minute activity for that day as a personal Christmas message for the secova family. From poems, crafts and singing together to cookies and (alcohol-free) punch, there was also time and space for contemplation, compliments and thanks. Very fitting for the Advent season, as is the “reward” associated with it. This is because every active participant was allowed to choose a charitable organization or initiative in advance, which will then receive a corresponding “door donation” of 100 euros.
Over 28,000 euros for many good causes
At secova, “donations instead of postage” means “no cards and letters at the end of the year”, but it does not mean doing without Christmas greetings.
The following organizations were supported in 2022:

- 5,000 euros to “Die Transporteure – Hilfe für Menschen in Not e.V.”
- 5,000 euros to“Deutscher Kinderschutzbund Ortsverband Rheine e.V.“
- 10,000 euros to“Freie Schule Tecklenburger Land“
- 300 Euros toHospice “haus hannah””, 200 euros toTierschutzverein Rheine u. Umgebung e.V.” and 100 euros each to “The Social Surf Club e.V.“, “Rhodos Pfoten e.V.“, “Trauernde Kinder Schleswig-Holstein e.V.“, “Run For Their Lives e.V.“, “Tierschutz Osnabrück und Umgebung e.V.”, “Sidelights Emsbüren“, “Lost Souls Gnadenhof Waltrop“, “Red Noses Clowns“, “spendenkonto-nothilfe.de“, “Reptile Rescue Center Crete“, “Herzenswünsche e.V.” and “Young Carer Help“
- 2182.98 euros to“Evangelische Jugendhilfe Münsterland gGmbH“
Video greetings from secova
The provider of the EHS software solution sam® also traditionally produces its own annual video with personal reviews and highlights from employees at Christmas time. This moving image message was again sent to secova’s customers and friends in 2022.
