Advent calendar for a good cause
This Advent season, individual secovians are surprising their colleagues with a pre-Christmas campaign - and secova is donating to a social project of their choice as a reward
The 2024 Advent calendar at secova is once again very lively: This year, we secovians were able to reach into a raffle cup at the end of November and draw two different tickets. The first ticket only had the personal “door tag” on it. The second lot names the respective person’s task, which they are then to implement for one or two departments. This task naturally has something to do with the pre-Christmas period and can be designed according to your own ideas. 17 working days until Christmas Eve mean a lot of small joint activities that bring us a good dose of Advent spirit as well as fun. At least as nice: secova donates 500 euros for each Advent calendar activity, and the lottery ticket holders can choose the respective donation recipients themselves.
The first doors have already been opened. Celina wrote a Christmas poem, Sabrina baked cookies and Elena held a pre-Christmas coffee party. At Frank and Christoph’s, the colleagues were able to make and decorate a witch’s house and learn a bit about its history. Jan and Irene, as Santa Claus and Knecht Ruprecht, “rewarded and punished” with treats. Nele revealed her personal Christmas recipe for pasta salad and Paul prepared a Christmas smoothie with Lars. Cinzia even managed to get almost the entire sales team together in Christmas outfits for a group photo – in real life and at a team meeting.
We can still look forward to these activities: A Christmas card with a personal dedication, hot waffles, a self-penned Christmas carol and an appreciation card. We also learn about Christmas traditions, drink non-alcoholic mulled wine, listen to a Christmas story and experience a Christmas quiz. And then enjoy a video message from our Lars on Christmas Eve. Which of us doesn’t get warm around the heart day after day, door after door…
