Patrick prefers a structured approach.
Patrick likes the openness at secova: "It's a good bunch here - you don't have to pretend, it's the person that counts!"
Patrick has known since the age of 15: “Computers and programming – that’s my thing!” Accordingly, he first trained as an “information technology assistant” and then as a “computer scientist for application development”. Having started his career in the full stack (“Girl for everything!”), he now works at secova as a backend developer on the structures and functions of our EHS solution system sam®. “I prefer the structural aspects (e.g. working with a database), not the creative ones. But structured doesn’t mean a fixed route – I can also take shortcuts.” He can always rely on the tips and support of everyone in the Team secova build: “You learn that very quickly here. There are no hierarchical barriers here, everyone talks to everyone equally.” His start with us was without any hurdles: “I came in here and was able to get started straight away. I like coming into the office, sitting in front of the computer and developing solutions…”
Patrick is married and has two sons of kindergarten age. Accordingly, his family at home in Neuenkirchen is his top priority. And when the two boys do give dad a break, he indulges in a special passion: “FPV drone flying! FPV stands for First Person ViewI fly with goggles and see exactly what the drone sees – in pilot mode, so to speak.” The self-confessed technology fan has not only bought a 3D printer for this hobby. He likes to tinker and try things out – and of course, he also likes to play with his PC from time to time. And he proved that he can play games at the last secova Gaming Legends 2.0, which he won “easily” in a team with Jeremy: “It was great fun together with my colleagues! Just like the work, the teamwork, the whole atmosphere at secova is simply very personal and direct.”
