"Attractive for everyone": EHS software sam® in a GIT interview
The trade magazine GIT Sicherheit asked secova COO Nicolas Lulay about the range of services and the latest developments relating to the holistic sam® solution system.
In its October 2024 issue,“GIT Sicherheit”– the monthly trade magazine covering all aspects of safety & Security – published an “issue within an issue” on the topic of occupational safety. COO Nicolas Lulay was also interviewed about secova’s EHS software solution sam®. His answers mainly relate to the following questions:
- What solutions does secova provide with sam® so that companies can manage their legal obligations more effectively and easily?
- How does sam® support the specific example of “risk assessment”?
- Various individual occupational health and safety tasks can be solved efficiently and clearly, but can and should also be considered in context – why?
- Why is a company’s safety culture – especially the aspect of employee involvement – so important?
- What is the best way for companies today to really reach all the generations represented in the company, which are so different in many ways?
- What content does secova’s in-house content team provide and what do the collaborations with partner companies offer?
- Which modern technologies does sam® already use or will use even more in the future and where should the journey take us?
In addition to aspects such as making work easier, saving time, demonstrably improved legal certainty and ease of use, Nicolas Lulay emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach. The COO of secova would also like to emphasize that sam® can be used to promote personal responsibility, which is so important for occupational safety. For example, secova’s latest development – the“Safety Avatar” – allows employees to monitor their own safety status. Just like a fitness tracker, they are always shown where they stand in terms of their own safety. And what they have already done or where there is still need for action.
