Katja has the "helper syndrome"
Katja likes the open, honest and appreciative way of working together at secova: "We can all be curious, develop our own ideas and are prepared to take a different path!"
Katja is not satisfied with a simple “yes” or “no”. In addition to modern design, her job as a UX designer includes the task of deciding exactly where to place what: “I pay close attention to what a button says.” The information must be clear and unambiguous – in words that everyone understands. For her, UX design is ultimately about designing and writing for the user: “I want to help them to navigate through the software as easily as possible and to quickly recognize: `What happens here, where do I press, what should I do?‘ In the end, our users should be happy – that’s my goal!” She herself really enjoyed the “super-warm” welcome and the open arms of the secova team: “I never had the feeling of being ‘the new girl’, but was right in the middle of things. We meet here as equals, relaxed, humorous, friendly and informal. And I like the fact that we also incorporate this into our sam® solution system.”
Katja was told early on: “You’re going to do something creative!” During her design studies, her hobby “gaming – video games” led her to specialize in media design and ultimately to UX design. For her, work, passion and hobby have now merged almost seamlessly, perfectly complemented by her self-attested “helper syndrome”. Katja also likes to be creative in her “real” free time: she draws and crochets or sews her own costumes so that she can slip into other roles. She has a particular soft spot for Japan: whether mangas, animé, cartoons or animated films, sushi or the band “One OK Rock” – (almost) everything from the land of the rising sun fascinates her. In addition to this particular preference, she generally enjoys going to fairs and concerts or to musicals and films (Disney!). She also has a weakness for “anything sweet”. This also boosts her constant good mood…
