Georg is a developer
Georg says: "We are like partners here; we all have a common goal and communicate openly and honestly with each other. From the very first day, I felt as if I had been working here for a long time!"
For Georg, one thing is certain: “Development is my passion!” He discovered his love for the PC at the age of four. When his father began to do his first web programming at the start of the new millennium, the now twelve-year-old was finally “fascinated and attracted as if by a magnet!” After college and university, he started out as a freelancer and eventually left his small village for a large company in St. Petersburg. He was also able to develop his own career there and learn German intensively. He then moved to Germany in 2016, triggered by his first visit to his aunt there two years earlier. Since then, he has been able to greatly expand his technical and language skills and is now working for us as a Senior Developer. In the backend, he optimizes our EHS software system sam®: “I remove obstacles and construction sites in the background to transform some rough paths into smooth highways.” He greatly appreciates that “everyone in the Team secova trusted me immediately and I received a warm and friendly welcome from management to trainees.”
The young Georg, who initially “just wanted to play” on the PC, has now become an experienced developer with 14 years of professional experience, who always wants to develop and optimize himself. In his free time, he satisfies his desire for (preferably technical) literature and films (preferably science fiction & adventures) in German, if possible without exception, in order to learn the language even more and understand society even better. To compensate for all the mental work, he likes to tinker and work with his hands – from installing and remodeling the kitchen or the shower fittings in his apartment to a windmill that he spent two years building together with his uncle. He also enjoys the car theme, where his heart beats faster as a spectator at drift competitions. However, he also likes things to be a little quieter and more relaxed, for example when cycling or listening to music (he used to play the guitar and electric piano himself). He also appreciates the cozy, quiet atmosphere in the office, despite the high-quality workstations and first-class technical equipment, as well as “the fact that people at secova not only hear, but can really listen to each other!”
