Elena is committed
"At secova," says Elena, "you can come as you are. You will be heard, seen, respected and appreciated - whether you are a new member or have been for years!"
Elena enjoys being with people, both privately and professionally. It was only natural that she quickly turned her attention to sales during her training as an industrial clerk. Whether electricity provider, public utility company or start-up – Elena has always been energetically and happily involved in business customer service during her career. Then she discovered secova via the posters for our “Open House Day 2024” – and wrote a “classic” application. Her first job interview followed – with Katja in a deckchair! And now, as Senior Sales Manager, she is part of Team secova.
“Right from the start, I sensed a great deal of dedication here, from everyone in their own way. It’s phenomenal how much trust everyone places in you right from the start! We practice open and transparent cooperation here. No matter what you are like, you are welcome and appreciated here. We live our values!” She considers our error culture to be exemplary. But also how everyone can play an equal role in their teams and thus contribute to the overall performance on a daily basis: “After all, this is what ultimately counts – and is then rewarded with great benefits. One thing is important to me personally, but it should also apply to people in general: Don’t take so much for granted, a little humility won’t hurt!”
Commitment characterizes Elena both professionally and privately. She used a three-month career break to help out at the food bank in her home town: “I’ve always been very active as a volunteer – from the sports club to the church community.” In her private life, she enjoys being at home with her partner (“my fixed point and anchor for 20 years”) – they are currently building their own home. Every now and then she makes a pilgrimage to the soccer stadium, she even used to play herself. Today she goes to sport “less for fun, but more because it’s a necessary evil and indispensable. A nice side effect: I get to meet new people with whom I also enjoy meeting up for a meal or a party outside of the weekly sports sessions!” Elena also enjoys cooking (“not often, but with pleasure”) and meeting up with friends. She used to read a lot, but now she prefers to listen to podcasts instead. And then she has another weakness: “I’m a loyal GZSZ fan, I hate to miss an episode!…”
