Christian looks ahead
Christian is particularly enthusiastic about the team spirit at secova: "We are all part of the whole with our strengths and weaknesses, everyone supports each other and there is a great deal of trust between us."
Christian has probably had the most unusual start of all the “newcomers” to the secova team so far. He spent his first working days at a campsite (!) – with almost the entire team during our Annual Strategy Check 2024. There, he immediately sensed what we mean by our “secova spirit”: “Everyone is friendly, open and treats each other as equals. It’s a great togetherness, very approachable, tangible, authentic. People really live by their own values – it just feels good here!” Christian is a Senior Product Owner at secova and relies on his ability to think and plan ahead. “On the one hand, our task is to make ourselves technically future-proof. And on the other, to incorporate customer requirements as far as possible and implement them in solutions.” The trained media designer (with an additional correspondence course in media management) has many years of experience as a developer, technical consultant and finally product owner. “I speak the language of developers and therefore know both worlds. As Product Owner, I take care of the what and why, the developers take care of the how and together we take care of the when. We work every day to drive our products forward ourselves and bring out solutions that deliver real added value!”
Christian is a family man in his private life – married with two daughters and dog “Fiete”. Born in Bielefeld, he has lived with his family in Salzbergen in Lower Saxony, his wife’s home town, for several years. They built a house there, where he benefited from his interest in craftsmanship. But he can also get involved in children’s gymnastics with his older daughter. He often enjoys sharing his love of nature and running with his dog. They both enjoy jogging through the surrounding woods together. His dream goal used to be to run a marathon: “I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it. But it should be a half marathon at some point!” His membership of a local bowling club is more about socializing. As an East Westphalian and soccer fan, however, his heart beats particularly strongly for his Arminia: “It’s been my ‘exotic’ hobby almost from birth!”
